    You will need to live within commuting distance to our Mahwah, New Jersey office. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week and can work from home on other days.

    What You Will Do

    + Design, develop, and verify components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervision.

    + Translate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions.

    + Lead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performance.

    + Identify and resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis to improve processes and outcomes.

    + Apply clinical knowledge to author design inputs and support Voice of Customer sessions.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practices.

    + Create and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History Files.

     

    What You Will Need

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field).

    + Minimum four years of relevant product engineering or product design experience.

    + Experience designing mechanical assemblies.

    + Proficiency in engineering drawing creation and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
