The ERP Solution Architect is responsible for designing comprehensive business solutions and architecting integrations across our enterprise technology ecosystem. This role serves as the critical bridge between business users and technical teams, designing end-to-end solutions that span financial operations, warehouse management, supply chain processes, customer relationship management, and system integrations. The architect will drive solution design initiatives, develop technical architecture documentation, and support cross-platform implementations while ensuring optimal performance across our enterprise systems in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
+ Design end-to-end business solutions spanning multiple enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, warehouse management, and business intelligence platforms.
+ Develop technical architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and integration patterns for complex business requirements across diverse technology platforms.
+ Create comprehensive solution designs that leverage existing enterprise systems to maximize business value and operational efficiency while planning for future technology evolution.
+ Configure and optimize enterprise financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, and Cost Accounting to support comprehensive financial operations.
+ Design financial workflows, chart of accounts structures, budget controls, and financial consolidation processes aligned with business requirements and regulatory compliance.
+ Architect financial integrations and reporting solutions to provide real-time visibility into financial performance across multiple business units and systems.
+ Design and optimize advanced warehouse management processes including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and replenishment workflows to improve operational efficiency.
+ Configure warehouse management systems including work templates, location management, wave processing, mobile device workflows, and cycle counting procedures aligned with operational requirements.
+ Implement best practices in inventory management, warehouse automation, and supply chain optimization to streamline operations and reduce processing time.
+ Design cross-platform integration architecture spanning ERP, CRM, e-commerce, warehouse management, and business intelligence systems to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.
+ Architect and optimize system integrations between enterprise systems and external platforms including e-commerce platforms, shipping/TMS systems, financial institutions, and third-party applications.
+ Implement enterprise integration patterns, API design best practices, and middleware solutions to ensure scalable and maintainable integration architecture.
+ Design and implement workflow automation solutions and cloud-based integration services to enhance system functionality and stabilize data flows.
+ Ensure master data consistency across the entire enterprise ecosystem, with focus on standardizing customer data, product information, financial dimensions, units of measure, and vendor records.
+ Develop and enforce comprehensive data governance practices spanning financial, operational, inventory, and customer data to support accurate processing across all integrated systems.
+ Design data quality frameworks and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement master data changes without disrupting business operations.
+ Provide strategic functional support for enterprise system users across finance, warehousing, inventory management, sales, customer service, and supply chain areas.
+ Investigate and resolve complex multi-system issues, working to diagnose problems and architect comprehensive solutions that address root causes.
+ Monitor system performance and data quality across platforms, proactively identifying architectural improvements and optimization opportunities to enhance business operations.
+ Oversee enterprise system environment administration including development, testing, and production environments across multiple platforms.
+ Schedule and coordinate system updates, patches, and releases across integrated systems while ensuring minimal business disruption and maintaining system compatibility.
+ Perform environment management, deployments, and data migrations while maintaining data integrity and security across interconnected enterprise systems.
+ Collaborate with finance, warehouse operations, supply chain, customer service, and IT teams to understand comprehensive business processes and architectural requirements.
+ Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, solution architecture documents, and implementation roadmaps for diverse technology platforms.
+ Develop user guides, technical documentation, process flows, and Standard Operating Procedures for critical business processes across all enterprise systems.
+ Conduct solution design sessions and provide training for end-users on new functionalities and integrated process improvements.
Essential Skills
+ Deep knowledge of enterprise business applications including ERP financial modules, warehouse management systems, and supply chain processes.
+ Strong solution architecture and technical design skills with ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, integration blueprints, and cross-platform solution designs.
+ Experience with enterprise integration patterns, API design, REST/SOAP web services, and cross-platform solution development methodologies.
+ Proficient in generative AI and large-language-model ecosystems—including Google Gemini and OpenAI GPT—with hands-on experience in prompt engineering, model selection/evaluation, and embedding AI-powered capabilities into enterprise architectures and workflows.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
+ Enterprise system certifications preferred for relevant platforms (ERP, CRM, business intelligence, or integration technologies).
+ Experience with enterprise financial systems including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, and cost accounting processes.
+ Proven experience in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, or service environment with complex business process requirements and high-volume operations.
+ Solution architecture and technical design experience with enterprise business applications and system integration projects.
+ Experience with enterprise integration technologies, workflow automation platforms, and cloud-based business applications.
+ 3-5 years of experience with enterprise business applications in a functional, techno-functional, or solution architecture role across ERP, CRM, or integrated business systems.
Work Environment
Our current technology environment includes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as our primary ERP system, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement for CRM, Microsoft Power Platform for workflow automation and analytics, and various integrated third-party systems for e-commerce, shipping, and specialized business functions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ronkonkoma, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
90 days you will be eligible to participate in our benefits program, which includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), STD, LTD, Life Insurance, etc., all of which will be described in more detail during your employee orientation. In addition, you will receive two (2) weeks of vacation, in addition to six (6) sick days, which you begin accruing upon your date of hire and can use upon the completion of 90 days Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your eligible dependents. We have two types of plans with many different options. The benefit package is contributory. For example, should you choose to join Oxford Liberty your weekly contribution would be $40.00 which includes the cost of health, dental and vision. This includes a gym membership reimbursement if you meet the qualifications. Short-Term Disability Plan (STD) This benefit would pay sixty percent (60%) of your regular salary for a period of time up to twelve (12) weeks should you become disabled. New York State STD This benefit provides weekly cash benefits to replace, in part, wages lost due to injuries or illnesses that do not arise out of or in the course of employment. Long-Term Disability Plan (LTD) This benefit would pay sixty percent (60%) of your regular salary for an extended period of time. 401K and Company Match Life Insurance Full-time employees are eligible for and are automatically enrolled in a group term life insurance program. The Company pays the premium for this program. Mass Mutual Life Insurance Employees have the option to purchase an additional insurance plan up to $500,000 Tuition Reimbursement Policy will reimburse an employee up to a maximum of $5,250.00 per year for continuing education through an accredited program that either offers growth in an area related to his or her current position or that which may lead to promotional opportunities.
