    A day in the life:

     

    The Mechanic is responsible for performing a variety of general and preventative maintenance duties. This includes installing, repairing, and maintaining building equipment and systems in a safe and efficient manner to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.

     

    What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member

     

    + Perform routine and emergency maintenance services as scheduled.

    + Conduct basic facility repairs, including changing light bulbs, minor plumbing work, and fixture replacements.

    + Complete assigned work orders and tasks in a timely and professional manner.

    + Conduct outdoor cleanup including trash pickup around the building and parking areas.

    + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery as directed.

    + Properly use, maintain, and store tools and equipment.

    + Operate all mechanical and maintenance equipment safely and according to guidelines.

    + Monitor and maintain assigned building systems and respond to issues as needed.

    + Identify and report safety hazards and take appropriate action.

    + Maintain courteous and professional behavior when interacting with residents, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.

    + Work independently and efficiently without close supervision.

     

    What you’ll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    + Minimum of 1 year of commercial or facilities-related maintenance experience.

    + Basic knowledge of maintenance trades such as electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Willingness to work flexible or assigned shifts, including nights or weekends if required.
