    At the YMCA of Broome County, the Director of Member Services plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment for our members. This leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community well-being and growth while overseeing member engagement initiatives and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

    Shift:

    Full-time (40 hours/week)

    Pay:

    $46,000 - $50,000

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction, retention, and engagement

    + Oversee daily operations of the member services department, including front desk, membership enrollment, and member relations

    + Lead, train, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality member interactions and service standards

    + Manage membership data, billing, and reporting to support operational efficiency

    + Address member concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally

    + Collaborate with other departments to promote programs, events, and community outreach initiatives

    + Monitor best practices and emerging needs to continuously improve member services and experiences

    Requirements

    + Proven experience in customer service, membership management, or a similar role within a community organization

    + Strong leadership and team management skills

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

    + Ability to handle multiple priorities and resolve conflicts effectively

    + Passion for community service and promoting healthy, active lifestyles
