    Aseptic Manufacturing Technician

     

    _Contract @ $20/hour_

     

    _Rotating Shift (2-3-2)_

    Job Summary

    The Manufacturing / Filling Technician is responsible for preparing, setting up, and operating filling and packaging equipment in a regulated lab environment. This role supports vaccine filling operations, ensures compliance with SOPs and quality standards, and works closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Prepare, set up, and operate filling machines

    + Operate dry heat ovens, autoclaves, and programmed freezers

    + Operate canning and centrifugal spinning machines

    + Batch vaccines for filling and pack frozen vaccine for BRT

    + Complete all relevant filling documentation and perform required quality and volume checks

    + Maintain good documentation practices, including batch closing in Oracle

    + Order and receive materials and supplies

    + Maintain cleanliness of equipment and filling areas

    + Adhere to, revise, and perform procedures in accordance with SOPs

    + Assist in other production or lab areas as needed

    + Work safely around liquid nitrogen

    + Collaborate with maintenance personnel to perform mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting

    Work Environment

    + Lab and cleanroom environment

    + Aseptic filling operations

    + Exposure to cold temperatures and liquid nitrogen

    Required Qualifications

    + High School Diploma

    + Demonstrated mechanical or electronic aptitude

    + Experience working in cleanroom environments

    + Familiarity with aseptic filling principles

    + Strong mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills

    + Attention to detail and strong documentation skills

    + Ability to follow SOPs and work in a regulated environment
