Job Summary
The Lead Technology Product Manager for **CCH Axcess Tax** will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative tax technology solutions within the CCH Axcess platform. This role is responsible for leading product initiatives that enhance compliance, streamline workflows, and deliver exceptional user experiences for tax professionals. Acting as the voice of the customer, the Lead Technology Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, UX, marketing, and support—to ensure product alignment with business objectives and market needs. The ideal candidate combines deep product management expertise with a strong understanding of tax technology trends, regulatory requirements, and customer-centric design principles.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the development, enhancement, and full lifecycle management of **CCH Axcess Tax** products, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and alignment with firm workflows.
+ Lead one or more Scrum teams in applying Agile development practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives), and driving quarterly planning to ensure alignment with product goals and delivery timelines.
+ Drive user experience and interface design improvements to deliver intuitive, efficient solutions for tax professionals.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams—including engineering, marketing, sales, and support—to ensure successful execution of tax product initiatives.
+ Align product initiatives with strategic business objectives and the overall vision for the CCH Axcess platform.
+ Implement customer feedback loops and Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to continuously improve tax workflows and compliance features.
+ Represent the voice of the customer through direct engagement with tax professionals and industry forums.
+ Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and regulatory changes to initiate improvements proactively.
+ Deliver compelling presentations to internal stakeholders and external audiences, showcasing product vision, compliance updates, and roadmap progress.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 5+ years of experience in technology product management.
+ Proven experience managing SaaS products, preferably in tax or financial technology.
+ Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Scrum teams, including facilitating ceremonies and quarterly planning.
+ Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market trends into actionable product strategies.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive decisions.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
+ Experience with CCH Axcess Tax or similar tax compliance platforms.
+ Knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and workflows used by accounting firms.
+ Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and modern software development practices.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification

Compensation:
105,800.00 - 185,450.00 USD
This role is eligible for Bonus.
