In this role, you will:
+ Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loans
+ Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area
+ Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables
+ Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
+ Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers
Required Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree preferred
+ Commercial or Private banking related experience in credit portfolio management.
+ Ability to develop, negotiate, and recommend a broad range of loan types, structures and request related to structured loan programs.
+ Knowledge of loan structuring, commercial, and private banking products and services. Wealth related lending experience is desirable.
+ Strong interpersonal, communication skills and partnering skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent business and credit recommendation decisions.
+ Ability to work effectively within a team and build strong working relationships across business channels and at all levels of management.
+ Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills, including time and priority management.
+ Solutions-oriented and able to operate within a diverse, fast-paced environment.
+ Strong initiative, communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to internal partners.
+ Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Job Expectations:
+ Manage flow of loan applications to underwriting; review loan application packages for completeness and accuracy. Ensure loan underwriting is in accordance with credit policy, approved terms, and meeting regulatory compliance.
+ Compile, review and monitor all reporting as required to manage the Partner Capital Loan portfolio: Periodic maturities, credit scoring, pipeline, exceptions and other outstanding reports as required by the field and client relationships.
+ Conduct annual compliance reviews on portfolio of capital loan programs; monitor exposures relative to approved guidance line commitment.
+ Partner with operations to ensure accuracy of records and bookings; escalate issues or remedy errors as needed. Coordinate with Underwriting Team to ensure risk ratings are consistent and accurate for Capital Loan portfolio.
The Capital Loan Program Portfolio Manager will facilitate capital loan credit approvals; act as liaison between the Legal Specialty Group relationship team and underwriting group. Point of contact for Bankers, Underwriters and Client Associates to address questions related to capital loan applications in process and new requests. Manages shared sites to ensure current program documents are stored and available to the field.
Assists in closing of loans and post-closing follow-up as needed. Enhance and contribute to the credit process for law firm credit and capital loan program reviews and renewals.
Participates in new capital loan program requests as part of credit team and help coordinate approvals as needed with Underwriters, Underwriting Manager, Custom Credit Leader, IRM and others to ensure timely response. Active participation/leadership in client calls and client assessment meetings.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
