    Paragon Cyber Solutions is an award-winning, woman-owned small business providing cybersecurity, CMMC, and IT services to federal and commercial clients. We support mission-critical programs across the DoD and civilian agencies and operate with a lean, execution-focused model. This role is a local part-time, contract opportunity for an experienced IT professional who can provide both hands-on and remote systems support.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    The IT Support Consultant will provide on-demand IT services including endpoint setup, tenant administration, and on-site technical support at our test center. The contractor will manage their own schedule while responding to tasks and service requests within agreed upon timeframes. Initial monthly hours will range from 10-20 with the potential to increase over time.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (CONTRACT SCOPE)

    • Perform on-site updates and maintenance for PCs at Paragon’s test center and corporate office (as required)

    • Configure and deploy new corporate laptops (imaging, security, user setup)

    • Provide remote administration support for Microsoft 365 / Entra ID tenant

    • Execute administrative support and updates for Google Workspace tenant

    • Troubleshoot endpoint, access, and account issues

    • Implement security best practices as directed

    • Document work performed and provide clear handoff notes

    • Additional duties as agreed upon

    Requirements

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience providing IT support in small to mid-size environments

    • Hands-on experience with Windows endpoints and laptop deployment

    • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and identity environments

    • Experience with Google Workspace administration

    • Ability to work independently and manage tasks without daily supervision

    • Must be local to the Tampa Bay area and available for on-site work as needed

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience supporting testing centers or secure environments

    • Familiarity with cybersecurity or compliance-driven organizations

    • Experience supporting government contractors or regulated clients

    • This is a 1099 independent contractor role
