Amentum is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Space Force Range contract.

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst will provide comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support Space Force Range operations. This role requires expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and compliance with government contracting standards. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced financial modeling and ERP systems to deliver actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for multi-million-dollar government contracts.

+ Develop financial models and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and program profitability.

+ Support contract pricing, cost analysis, and compliance with FAR, CAS, and US GAAP standards.

+ Conduct quarterly Estimates at Completion (EAC) reviews and update booking rates in financial systems.

+ Provide technical accounting guidance, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and indirect rate analysis.

+ Collaborate with program managers and government customers to review funding status and cost drivers.

+ Assist in preparing incurred cost submissions and act as a liaison for DCAA audits.

+ Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

+ Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions to align financial performance with strategic goals.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor of Science in Finance or related field

+ Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for contracts

+ Advanced financial modeling and data analysis

+ Strong communication and presentation abilities

+ Knowledge of internal controls and audit readiness

+ Ability to lead cross-functional financial initiatives

+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA), State of Florida preferred

+ Experience in financial operations within defense contracting environments is preferred
