    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector has an opening for **Principal** **Logistics Management Analyst** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization Solutions (LSMS). This role is located in Oklahoma City, OK.

     

    The selected candidate will serve on a team in the 848th Supply Chain Maintenance Group (SCMG), Tinker AFB, OK. Work will involve supporting a number of efforts and tasks to include, material forecasting, supportability and logistics analysis to detect demand triggers in a timely manner and to develop and process a Demand Data Exchange submission to ensure supportability outside lead time based on inputs from the organic staff, key details related to changes in the end item programs and projected engineering changes affecting the end item configuration and repair procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide forecast and supportability analysis and determine through the analysis whether required need for consumable assets on end items managed by the 848 SCMG is higher than DLA forecasted demand plan

    + Responsible for detection of demand triggers affecting 848 SCMG managed parts

    + Research, answer questions, and work exceptions from the PDMC Flight and DLA and assist DLA Demand Planners in forecasting usage when required by the Government

    + Coordinate with Equipment Specialists and maintenance planners to update replacement percentages in G005M with numbers provided by the equipment specialist or planner

    + Assist Government personnel in updating supply demand requirements, with the SOR, and DLA-managed parts, required in building an applicable end item managed by the 848 SCMG

    + The candidate will compare bills of materials to technical orders and the illustrated parts list and maintain G005M planning bills of material for the 848th SCMG

    + Responsible for maintaining the 848 SCMG Planning Bill of Material, to include updating changes and corrections to invalid cost codes, quantities per assembly, replacement percentages, and additions, deletions and replacements of stock numbers on the BOM

    + Assist Logistics Management Specialists in analyzing requirements and obtaining proper documentation related to asset supportability for organic repair workloads

    + Provide root cause analysis and solutions on system issues that negatively impact US Air Force supply chain performance related to 848 SCMG managed assets

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Must either have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience or a PhD with a minimum of 1 year of experience. An additional 4 yrs of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement

    + Must have working knowledge of Depot Supply Chain Management processes, knowledge and experience working management of contract repair assets, knowledge/experience with shop-process, workflow, defense logistics support, and quality assurance requirements related to US Air Force/military supply system processes and procedures

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.) required

    + Must be local to Oklahoma City, OK

    + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous experience as an AF Logistics

    + Proven success/experience working with supply chain technical orders and bills of materials

    + Possess expert computer skills for Microsoft products (e.g., Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

    + Knowledge and experience with government and commercial technical orders. Illustrated part breakdown and Source Maintenance, and Recoverability Coding of Air Force weapon systems

    + Experience, thorough understanding, and ability to mine, analyze, sort, and filter data and information from Government Supply Chain Legacy Systems D035, Stock Control System; FLITES, Foundational Logistics Information Technology Enterprise System; FEDMALL; G005M, Depot Maintenance Material Support System; Repair Forecast Model (RFM); and Basing and Logistics Analytics Data (BLADE)

    + Extensive knowledge of the Air Force propulsion systems for various weapon systems

     

    Primary Level Salary Range: $70,100.00 - $105,100.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
