    About the role

     

    As an IBM Integration Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing integration solutions leveraging IBM technology stack and modern integration patterns. You will be a valued member of the team.

    In this role, you will:

    + Design REST APIs for seamless integration and developer experience.

    + Lead systems integration projects ensuring scalability and reliability.

    + Collaborate across teams to deliver superior software products using Agile methodologies.

    + Analyze requirements and provide accurate estimations for complex systems.

    + Implement distributed computing architectures addressing concurrency and parallelism.

    What you need to have to be considered

    + IBM Integration architecture experience including design including solid experience with IBM AppConnect and API.

    + Extensive experience in systems integration and REST API design.

    + Strong knowledge of modern languages and frameworks (Java, JavaScript, Node.js).

    + Expertise in distributed computing architectures.

    + Familiarity with design patterns and Agile methodologies.

    + Proven ability to thrive in customer-facing environments, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

    + Skill managing both onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project delivery.

    These will help you stand out

    + Experience with IBM technology stack (APIc, IIB, eXtreme Scale).

    + Knowledge of Kafka or similar streaming technologies.

    + Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.

    + Experience with SAFe principles.

    + Familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
