    Position Summary:

    Assist with the overall operations of the McLaren-Macomb Gift Shop.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    1.

     

    Works in the McLaren-Macomb Gift Shop as scheduled/needed.

     

    2.

     

    Greet and serve customers quickly and courteously.

     

    3.

     

    Take inventory and re-stock as necessary, including checking in and pricing of merchandise.

     

    4.

     

    Assist with processing payroll deduction forms.

     

    5.

     

    Assist with training volunteers for the Gift Shop.

     

    6.

     

    Clean all Gift Shop counters, shelves and equipment when not assisting customers.

     

    7.

     

    Follow opening and closing procedures appropriately.

     

    8.

     

    Keep the Gift Shop neat and clean.

     

    9.

     

    Work as a team member with volunteers.

     

    10.

     

    Work closely with the Gift Shop Coordinator to prioritize needs.

     

    11.

     

    Performs other related job duties as requested.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    * High School diploma or GED

    * Six months of prior work experience in retail environment requiring cash handling and customer service.

    _Preferred:_
