Design and develop secure, scalable software solutions for avionics and connected systems on embedded Linux platforms. Ensure compliance with aerospace standards while delivering high-performance, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Define technical requirements and system architecture for avionics and connectivity solutions.

+ Develop embedded Linux APPs for data comm/processing, avionics hardware communication, and system integration using Python.

+ Implement secure communication protocols, including TLS/SSL certificates, CA chains, HTTPS handshake, and network protocols like TCP/UDP.

+ Ensure compliance with aerospace safety and security standards, including DO-178C and DO-326A/356A.

+ Integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and manage APIs.

+ Perform rigorous testing for performance, security, and reliability to meet avionics certification requirements.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, systems, and cybersecurity, to deliver mission-critical solutions.

+ Provide technical support, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You Must Have:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

+ At least 7 years of experience in embedded systems development, preferably in aerospace or defense.

+ Design and implement secure sandbox environments in Embedded Linux.

+ Work with avionics protocols and standards such as ARINC 429, ARINC 615A, ARINC 615-3, GDL90 and GDL52.
