This position supports the Department of Business Affairs' mission by ensuring accurate, timely, and policy-compliant processing of accounts payable transactions.

Three years of experience or training in accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, or financial operations or computations.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ This position is responsible for the daily processing and verification of accounts payable transactions.
+ Ensure timely and accurate payment in compliance with State and Institutional policies.
+ The role provides operational support to departments by resolving invoicing and issues.
+ Maintains financial records, reconciling encumbrances and follows up on missing invoices.
+ Through consistent oversight and coordination with faculty, staff, and vendors, this position helps maintain efficient financial operations and supports the department’s fiscal integrity.
Position-Specific Details:
Work Schedule: This is an on-site full-time role, on the NSU Natchitoches Campus. Schedule is Monday-Friday with some flexibility.
