Purpose
The Clarks Fork Cook will be directly responsible for cooking for our Paws Up teammates, providing a fun and safe place to eat, and to assist and prepare aspects of the food production and preparation according to the Restaurant outlet menu items.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
+ Prepare, and help with AM/PM Prep Lists
+ Learn and variety of techniques and cook for our Paws Up Family
+ Communicate with Management on daily production requirements
+ Set-up, breakdown, and proper maintenance of all equipment in Clark Fork Kitchen
+ Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
+ Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
+ Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
+ Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
+ Prepare cold food.
+ Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
+ Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
+ Monitor food quality while preparing food.
+ Set-up and break down workstation.
+ Assist other kitchen team members when needed
+ Exhibit an understanding of the importance of safe food handling procedures, as well as safety procedures in the kitchen
+ Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
+ Label, date, store and rotate all products while maintaining assigned stock levels
+ Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.

Educational, Experience, Licensure Required
+ High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work; Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field
+ Experience as a Prep/Line Cook
+ Control inventory
+ Valid Food Handler’s License
+ Valid State Driver’s License
