    The Center for Indigenous Health (CIH), part of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a **_Sr. Research Data Analyst_** _._

     

    The Sr. Research Data Analyst will build complex data models and conduct complex data analysis in support of research projects, programs, and/or studies. The Sr. Research Data Analyst is responsible for coordination of data and data analysis activities across multiple studies.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    + Develop, manage, and database of survey data from multi-site study.

    + Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates.

    + Oversee quality control procedures for database and ongoing analysis.

    + Develop data models.

    + Conduct statistical analyses of data collected in this system to support empirical study.

    + Build transmission models.

    + Create and curate software tools across diverse programming languages in support of research efforts.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    _In addition to the duties described above_

    + Create infographics and other data visualization for wide ranging communication of data to academic and non-academic audiences.

    + Manuscript collaboration, including creating graphs and figures as well as drafting content for methods section.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Master's Degree in a related field.

    + One year of related experience.

    + Require highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.

    + Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Proficient with R and its relevant packages (e.g., dplyr, gmodels, ggplot2) to perform data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modeling.

    + Mixed methods research experience

    Starting Salary Range: $28.61 - $50.05 HRLY (Commensurate w/exp.)
