Essential functions (job duties):
Wayne State University Law School’s Office of Career Success ("Wayne Law") is seeking applications from Class of 2025 graduates of an ABA Counsel-accredited law school for a one calendar year Post-Graduate Fellowship.
The fellowship offers an opportunity for a recent law school graduate to gain experience working with Wayne Law’s Office of Career Success. The fellow’s responsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
Employment-Based Research
Student & Alumni Advising and Engagement
Program & Event Assistance
12twenty Position Research (12twenty is Wayne Law’s Premier Career Platform)
Data Entry/Management
Special Events/Projects
The fellow will work closely with the Office of Career Success staff and will report directly to the Director of Programming. The fellow will conduct research and use data driven analytics to recommend and assist with the office’s initiatives. This will include the responsibilities listed above, as well as additional responsibilities as assigned that are viewed to be in line with the position.
Qualifications:
The candidate will start on or before March 9, 2026; the fellowship will last at least one calendar year from the candidate’s start date. Applicants are required to submit (1) a letter of interest describing the candidate’s interest in the fellowship position, (2) a resume, (3) a law school transcript, and (4) the names and contact information of three individuals prepared to provide professional references. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

Working conditions:
Depending on the placement the fellowship may be fully remote, hybrid, or fully in-person. The fellowship is a 37.5 hour a week position.
