Hanes Supply offers a comprehensive and diverse product line to its customers including: rigging, fall protection, power tools, fasteners, hand tools, construction and safety equipment. Headquartered in Buffalo, NY, Hanes Supply has six other branches in the United States.
Position Summary: Oversees all departments to contribute to the management and quality team and constantly improves all policies, processes, or functions within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Observes all safety procedures, rules and regulations, and instruction in performance of job duties.
+ Overall care of personnel, facilities and departments within (Inside Sales, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Repairs, Rental, Office)
+ Supports all other Branches and business units within the organization
+ Insures that customer satisfaction is the driving force behind business growth
+ Monitors and reviews the quoting and costing activities including after delivery to insure operational profitability
+ Manages personnel to follow acceptable company policies and procedures
+ Insures associates perform with optimum safety, efficiency and quality
+ Insures that all associates are properly trained
+ Maintains the facility in a clean, organized and safe condition
+ Insures that associates are properly attired and protected in a safe condition at all times
+ Supports Safety Committee
+ Represents and communicates leadership of Quality System processes such as ISO procedures, forms and continuous improvement efforts
+ Provides leadership in the execution of critical production and sales processes
+ Performs other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Must have a basic understanding of technology and Microsoft systems.
+ Aptitude for problem solving and the ability to self- teach is required.
+ Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact initiatives.
+ Excellent communication skills, including strong oral and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels.
+ Strong knowledge of strategies and processes is required.
+ Demonstrated ability as a creative problem solver to understand problems and solutions.
+ Ability to lead, direct employees, and resolve any situations.
+ Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient, and detail oriented.
+ 5+ years of operations management and supervisory experience
+ Previous industrial and contractor supply knowledge is a plus
+ Experience with a Total Quality environment such as ISO
+ Strong self-starter that can work independently but also be a team player
+ Leader, able to direct employees and resolve any differences
+ Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
+ Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
Level of Education and Experience:
+ College Degree or technical trade certification in lieu of degree
+ Manufacturing, industrial, contracting, or warehouse leadership training or experience is preferred.
+ Experience with ISO/ Safety is preferred.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.

The job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, and fax machines.
