    SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Technical Architect

     

    Your role as Technical Architect involves performing oversight of our technical architect deliverables. You’ll define the implementation and coding approach for customizations, interfaces, system architecture, data flow and data architecture/data model. You will be the lead point of contact for defining technical requirements, leading both the client and the project team through technical decisions and challenges to assure our implementation meets the customer’s requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    •** **Defining and documenting project technical requirements; leading, enforcing and defining development standards.

    • Proactively completing Platform Vendor project documentation accurately by creating detailed and high-quality technical architecture and design documentation for the development team, including the complexity and detail and technical diagramming.

    • Perform analysis and review of licensing/development estimates to provide the complete cost of delivering a solution.

    • Manage technical risk related to complexity, data integration, scalability, and performance.

    • Creates work estimates and documents assumptions to provide a solid foundation for proposals and change control.

    • Prototype solutions when necessary to validate that an approach will meet the customer’s business requirements.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Expert understanding of SAPCC (Hybris) specific architecture

    • Minimum 8 years of recent experience preferred in web development

    • Minimum 5 years of recent experience preferred in an eCommerce project

    • Minimum 3 years of recent experience preferred in the SAPCC (Hybris) platform

    • Minimum 2 years of recent experience preferred as a Technical Lead

    • Ability to map business requirements into the technical capabilities of the E-commerce platform as well as guide client's business needs back to the appropriate use of the platform

    • Expert level knowledge of B2B and B2C E-commerce functionality and best practices for Internationalization and Localization

    • Knowledge of Cloud-based deployments

    • B.S. Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent Experience

    • SAP Commerce (Hybris) core; SAP Hybris commerce

    • Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC

    • Databases (such as HANA, MySQL, SQL Server and/or Oracle)

    • JUnit framework, and/or Automated Testing Frameworks

    • Front-End Web Design/Development: HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS, JavaScript, OO JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript library; Angular, React, Vue, SPA/PWA; REST/API services; Web Developer Tools; Responsive Design

    • Back-End: OO A&D, UML; Design Patterns; XML, XSD; SOAP & REST; Unix Shell Scripting; Linux

    • Jenkins set up and configuration, Git workflow

    Preferred Skills

    • Current Developer certification in SAPCC (Hybris)

    • Using and managing version control through SVN and/or Git – including planning & creating branches and performing merges

    • Experienced with automated unit testing frameworks (JUnit,) Spock, Selenium

    • Experience with Unix/Linux environments

    • Proficient in merging Java, spring, and JavaScript, including relevant libraries

    • Proficient with planning development sprints with the Technical Lead and PM; participating in daily scrum calls within an Agile environment

    • Experience leading & supervising application development teams

    • Expert client-facing and communication skills

    • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts, MVC paradigms

    The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$101,300 - $203,790

     

    Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

     

    The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

     

    These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

     

    It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

     

    In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
