Capgemini is urgently seeking a Data Governance to enterprise-level metadata and data access initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Collibra, Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Privacera, and will drive strategic alignment across technical and business teams. This role is open to relocation and offers the opportunity to shape scalable, secure data ecosystems.

Your Role

+ Metadata Management & Design and implement enterprise metadata models in Collibra aligned with business goals.

+ Integrate metadata workflows with Unity Catalog and Synaptica for enhanced discoverability.

+ Data Access Governance

+ Implement and govern secure data access using Privacera.

+ Optimize distributed workspaces in Databricks leveraging Unity Catalog.

+ Standards & Best Practices

+ Define standards for efficient use of Databricks environments.

+ Champion metadata governance and utilization across teams.

+ Strategic Leadership

+ Develop transition architecture roadmaps with clear milestones and success metrics.

+ Align cross-functional stakeholders around a unified data discovery vision.

+ Foster collaboration and clarity in complex, ambiguous environments.

+ Innovation & Thought Leadership

+ Promote innovative solutions in ontology, data access, and discovery.

+ Serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor.

Job Description - Grade Specific

Your skills and experience:

+ Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, Collibra, Unity Catalog, and Privacera.

+ Proven success in implementing distributed Databricks workspaces.

+ Strong background in metadata modeling, data architecture, and enterprise-scale data discovery.

+ Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $85,000 to $145,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
