Job Summary:
The Quality Architect serves as the top-level expert for delivering mission-critical, strategically focused applications, programs, websites, databases, and systems at the highest level of quality. Responsible for guiding and supporting the testing of these systems. Considered a thought leader and technical expert in the realm of quality and has comprehensive knowledge in that area.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
+ Define and maintain the overall test architecture and automation framework across applications and platforms.
+ Develop and enforce standardized quality engineering patterns, processes, and architectural guidelines across teams.
+ Contribute to the organization's enterprise quality strategy, including adoption plans, design principles, and best practices.
+ Design and promote shift-left and shift-right quality practices, including early defect detection, observability, and production monitoring.
+ Establish KPIs, quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure effectiveness of testing and automation strategies.
+ Drive adoption of modern testing practices such as contract testing, chaos engineering, performance profiling, and AI-assisted testing.
+ Create reusable automation assets, frameworks, toolkits, and libraries to streamline development team productivity.
+ Ensure testing data/content relevancy, security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
+ Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
+ Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams on testing and automation best practices.
+ Establish governance frameworks and standards for system quality and consistency.
+ Conduct quality-focused reviews and assessments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
+ Provides oversight for contracting teams to evaluate and assure effective use of resources.
+ Perform other duties as assigned

+ Typically, responsible for managing large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the company, involving large cross-functional teams.
Knowledge & Experience:
+ Requires mastery level knowledge of level area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
+ May have deep knowledge of project and program management.
+ Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
+ Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8-10 years of prior relevant experience.

Various Cloud, Data, Containerization, DevOps, Security, etc. certifications
