JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of basic administrative and clerical tasks to support Operations and Supply Chain. Coordinates and conducts day-to-day inventory management to ensure that GSF objectives for internal and external customer satisfaction are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health, safety, food safety, and quality standards, legal compliance, rules, regulations and practices of the facility.
+ Performs routine administrative and clerical tasks, including updating production information, troubleshooting daily operations reporting issues, report generation, ensure timely, accurate, and thorough maintenance of files, logs, and records and to ensure compliance with GSF and relevant regulatory policies and procedures.
+ Coordinates and performs physical inventory using a handheld computer.
+ Monitors inventory location accuracy.
+ Daily consumption location verification and reconciliation; returning unused production materials to inventory.
+ Reviews/Audits production records to ensure correct consumption of materials and scrap factors are confirmed accurately and timely.
+ Prepares a variety of daily and weekly statistical reports and logs for Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Operations and Warehouse, including Production Update Log to monitor progress toward established performance and productivity goals.
+ Assists in serving as liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure data is available in ERP to achieve goals.
+ Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and manage time to appropriately close month-end processing. Adjusts priorities, productivity, efficiency based on needs of department.
+ Provides general clerical support and assistance to the department, acting as backup receptionist to ensure high levels of productivity and smooth operations.
+ Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
3 to 6 years of relevant work experience performing administrative functions in a PC-based business environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Ability to wear personal protective equipment and/or clothing.
+ Stand/walk 6 or more hours per day.
+ Continuously talk/hear throughout the day.
+ Frequently bend, reach, twist/turn and grip/grasp.
+ Frequently use eye/hand coordination and use handling/fingering to handle boxes, use hoses or tools.
+ Frequently lift and carry less than 5 pounds from floor level to overhead.
+ Occasionally use eye/hand/foot coordination.
+ Occasionally carry up to 50 lbs 50-100 feet.
+ Push cart requiring 25 lbs of force 100 feet.
+ Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS:
+ Occasionally work in damp, wet, humid and slippery environments.
+ Occasionally work near moving equipment with fumes or airborne debris.
+ Occasionally work in high noise levels requiring hearing protection.
MACHINES/TOOLS/EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE:
+ Bump cap, hair net, safety glasses, hearing protection, and uniform or smock.
+ Cut resistant gloves.
+ Nitrile gloves, plastic apron, and plastic sleeves.
+ Manual pallet jacks.
+ Human Machine Interface (HMI) software.
