The** **Manufacturing Quality Supervisor** **is responsible for leading all quality assurance activities at the** **DuBois, PA manufacturing facility** **. This role manages and develops a team of** **7–9 Quality Technicians** **, driving consistent execution of quality standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
The Supervisor develops, implements, and maintains** **quality control processes and procedures** **, ensuring full compliance with applicable** **industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations** **. This position leads regular** **audits, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventive actions** **, leveraging quality data and metrics to identify trends, reduce risk, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
Partnering closely with** **Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations** **, the Quality Supervisor proactively addresses quality issues, supports production goals, and strengthens cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include ownership of** **quality documentation and records** **,** **training and development of quality personnel** **, and clear, data-driven** **reporting of quality performance and improvement initiatives to senior leadership** **.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
Develop and maintain quality control procedures and protocols
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections
Investigate and resolve any quality issues or defects
Train and supervise quality control staff
Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure quality standards are met
Quality Improvement:
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives
Analyze data and identify trends to suggest and implement process improvements
Develop and maintain quality improvement plans
Conduct root cause analysis for any quality issues and implement corrective actions
Reporting and Compliance:
Provide regular reports and updates on quality metrics to management
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes and procedures
Communicate any changes in quality standards or regulations to relevant departments.
Team Management:
Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.
Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.
Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
Adaptability:
Supervisors often encounter changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Being adaptable and flexible is crucial.
Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on organizational goals and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Manufacturing quality experience
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) principles** **focus on a** **systematic, blame-free investigation** **to find underlying causes
People leadership experience
(Preferred) bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Experience with developing and implementing inventory management policies and procedures.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 plus a 7.5% annual bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
