Western Kentucky University, a member of Conference USA and a Football Bowl Subdivision NCAA member institution, seeks to hire an individual for the position of Director of Recruiting Operations. This is 12 month, full-time position. This position reports directly to the Head Football Coach. Applicants must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of WKU, Conference USA and the NCAA.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted, and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.
+ Assist the Director of Player Personnel in all aspects of recruiting.
+ Assist with planning, setting up, and hosting all official visits and everything surrounding them. This also includes completing any necessary compliance paperwork and coordinating with necessary areas within the athletics department and outside it to ensure compliance with all NCAA and campus rules and regulations.

+ Assist with coordinating, managing, and overseeing all recruiting functions for Football.
+ Manage all correspondence sent out to prospective student-athletes for the program.
+ Create/Oversee social media and marketing plan for football recruiting department
+ Manage all aspects of the transition of all new players enrolling at Western Kentucky
+ Manage and oversee all ticket requests for Football home games by prospective student-athletes and high school coaches. This also includes managing ticket requests for all other sports with Football prospective student-athletes.
+ Manage the student graphic design department.
+ Assist with managing student support staff on game day.
+ Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or Chief of Staff for Football.
Knowledge and Skills Considered Essential for Success:
+ Knowledge of NCAA rules regarding recruiting in the sport of Football.
+ Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication.
+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and networking skills with individuals and groups.
+ Must be a self-motivated person who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Experience working with and completing NCAA Compliance paperwork.
+ Knowledgeable with coordinating, planning, and setting up official & unofficial visits.
+ Experience completing advanced scouting reports.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ At least one year of NCAA Division I Football experience.
+ Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
