Job Description

This position is for a senior level, experienced vulnerability researcher that will identify, analyze, and test for security weaknesses in software, hardware, and systems to understand how they can be exploited by attackers and security professionals. The cyber capability developer will conduct research, devleop solutions, and implement operational and analytic capabilities to strengthen technical operation associated with complex criminal and national security activities.

As a key senior cyber capability developer for vulnerability research, you will plan and lead major technology assignments. Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and sucess. You will be expected to function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and may be tasked to supervise others.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

A six year of vulnerability research (VR) experience may be substituted for bachelors degree in computer science or related technical degree.

Experience required with

VR and reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra, IDAPro Binary Ninja, WinDbg, x64dbg, and related debuggers/disassemblers.

Reverse engineering across multiple architectures (x86/x64, ARM/ARM64, MIPS, and others, as required)

Static and dynamic analysis of malicious binaries and scripts.

Scripting and automation to support analysis, using languages such as Python, PowerShel, and Bash

Ability to work independently on complex problems without higher tier escalation support including self-directed research, rapeid acquisition of new technical concepts, and applying reverse engineering expertise.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

For senior cyber capability developer an minimum of 8 years experience is preferred. In absence of 8 years experience, certifications, or past work may be used to show the level of experiecne needed to perform at this senior level. Experience in developing code using C/C , Go or Rust is preferred. Experience conducting VR for applications in Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, iOS, and embedded IoT systems.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
