Work hours: 40 hours/week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Job Duties: Harvest plants, transplant or pot and label. Operate tractors, skid steer, forklift, mini excavator, loader and various farm equipment, harrow and fertilize soil, plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Set up and operate irrigation equipment, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements and mechanical equipment, monitor health of crops, transport harvest crops to nursery store front, deliver crops to customers & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).
Other Job Information: Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Possible background check post hire at employer's expense.
### Minimum Education Required
None. No High School Diploma or GED required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.
Static strength: exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 80lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.
All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.
Variable weather conditions may apply.
Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash.

### Additional Compensation
Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 03/24/2025). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
