    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Software Engineer to join their team. This team in in the process of transforming a critical legacy environment into a modern, distributed system. The software engineer will be need a problem solver who can architect high-throughput solutions using Event-Driven Architecture. You will build the APIs and services that power warehouse operations, creating a seamless flow of data between our core database and the devices our teams use on the floor.

     

    The ideal candidate would be a mid-level developer (5-7 years of experience) with strong experience in C# and .NET, practical message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus), JavaScript, Vue,js, SQL, and NoSQL . This role is flexible for a more junior and more senior developer. This role will require you to be hybrid on-site in Tampa, FL.

    Skills and Requirements

    - Modern .NET Experience- strong experience in C# and .NET 8+.

     

    - Practical experience or strong conceptual understanding of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus) and asynchronous programming patterns.

     

    - Experience with Vui.js for the front end (or React/Angular with a willingness to learn Vue)

     

    - Experience with JavaScript.

     

    - Interest or experience in Blazor for internal tooling.

     

    - Experience with interfacing with non-relational, legacy data structures.

     

    - Good communication and collaboration and an ability to guide and mentor more junior QAs.

     

    - Strong SQL skills, plus an understanding of NoSQL or document-based data models.

     

    - Ability to come on-site for a hybrid environment. - Warehouse Management System (WMS) Experience (BlueYonder, High Jump, Manhattan Active WMS, etc)
