Job Description
• Own data accuracy, integrity, and activation readiness during and after the migration from Adobe Campaign Classic to Zeta.
• Serve as a technical bridge between Marketing, IT, and Analytics, ensuring data dependencies are understood and issues are resolved quickly.
• Design, validate, and maintain Snowflake‑based data models that support:
• Audience building
• Identity resolution
• Event ingestion (real‑time and batch)
• Activation and personalization use cases
• Validate audience parity, suppression logic, identity resolution, and eligibility rules during parallel runs and post‑migration.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, count mismatches, and ingestion issues affecting campaign activation and measurement.
• Support event data modeling for clickstream, app, API, and transactional signals used in triggered journeys.
• Enable automation, personalization, and reporting confidence through clean, scalable data processes.
• Partner with analytics and data science teams to activate AI/ML outputs, without owning model development.
• Continuously improve process efficiency, automation, and observability across the activation data pipeline.

Skills and Requirements
• Strong hands‑on data engineering background supporting marketing, ESP, or activation platforms (typically 5+ years; exceptional 2–3 year candidates will be considered).
• Advanced SQL and Python experience required; ability to work with complex joins, deduplication, window functions, and automation.
• Expert Snowflake experience:
• Designing, querying, and optimizing Snowflake data models
• Translating business requirements into technical data solutions
• Partnering effectively with IT and technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting or leading platform migrations, including:
• Data mapping and schema translation
• Parallel runs, validation, and cutover support
• Troubleshooting data discrepancies and activation issues
• Strong technical execution skills with the ability to own processes end‑to‑end with minimal guidance.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or similar frontend / scripting tools used in activation, tracking, or data validation workflows.
• Ability to operate independently at full speed with little to no formal training. · Hands‑on Zeta and/or Adobe (Adobe Campaign / Adobe Quickstream) experience.
• Prior experience leading migrations end‑to‑end, or playing a critical technical role in a complex platform migration.
• Broad data exposure across multiple platforms and data types, including some dashboarding, reporting, or analytics support.
• Experience working with non‑marketing data in addition to marketing and activation data.
• Familiarity with Movable Ink data feeds or ESP integrations.
• Retail or eCommerce experience.
• Strong documentation practices and the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly.
