Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to serve as the primary engineer responsible for mechanical engineering activities on various architectural projects. In this role, you will mentor junior engineers, oversee their work, and delegate tasks effectively within the engineering team. You will be responsible for detailed design of mechanical systems, including HVAC (airside and waterside), plumbing, fire protection, controls, and acoustics, while preparing comprehensive drawings and specifications. The position requires providing technical expertise and quality control direction throughout all phases of a project. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Skills and Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in engineering
• EIT Certification (someone who has passed their FE exam)
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline - especially architectural engineering
Experience working within the industrial, commercial, or healthcare (priority in that order) • PE Certification (Professional Engineer)
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline
• History of lifelong learning - demonstrated by pursuit of certifications (FE, PE, etc.) or professional organizations (ASHRAE, ASPE, IES, etc.)
