Job Description
The Trainer/Business Analyst will be responsible for defining and executing initiatives in collaboration with our key stakeholders and partners across multiple lines of business. This role requires a deep understanding of business and technical capabilities, identifying gaps, and delivering both requirements and training for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and new capabilities. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization while wearing multiple hats, be comfortable working autonomously, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications. As the subject matter expert for Supply Chain, the role will be a liaison to the business, development, implementation and support teams as well as support projects, enhancements, backlog and prioritization of features and capabilities.
Foundational Knowledge and System Familiarity
Demonstrate deep understanding of the WMS platform being implemented (e.g., Blue Yonder WMS).
Maintain familiarity with warehouse operations, including receiving, put-a-way, picking, shipping, and inventory control.
Maintain awareness of system integrations and their impact on workflows.
Training Design and Development
Conduct training needs assessments and audience analysis to identify performance gaps and learning objectives.
Design and develop training materials (SOPs, job aids, Quick Reference cards, Facilitator Guides, student workbooks, student exercises, instructor-led content) tailored to different user roles (e.g., SMEs, Trainers, Supervisors, Inventory Control, Receiving, Picking, Put-a-way), using Disney templates.
Training Delivery Data
Create data sets for training classes to support all training activities and trainee exercises.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and SMEs to confirm training scope and process alignment.
Coordinate with governance teams to manage training resource availability and scheduling.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate training records and feedback for continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate trackers for open issues and status.
Document lessons learned and contributed to post-go-live support plans.
Lead complex analysis, providing guidance and oversight
Develops and maintain relationships with business, vendor and technology stakeholders
Provides subject matter knowledge on the business, associated processes and systems
Understands the Warehouse Management system configurations and can work with business to adjust configurations to meet changing business needs.
Manage relationships with multiple vendors providing support to Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) products
Escalates issues and recommends appropriate solutions
Identifies product and process improvement opportunities by staying involved in product sustainment and customer feedback
Supports pre-project business case definition for large or complex projects
Works with the business to determine the real issue that needs to be solved or the opportunity to do things differently
Leads creation of user stories to enable system modification or development
Works with project team, business and other stakeholders to align roadmaps and strategy, understand the business needs, define requirements, guide work, schedule it for release, validate stakeholder responses and provide feedback

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of Training WMS – Blue Yonder- with some Business analysis experience or similar
Technical product knowledge in Blue Yonder Warehouse management
Experience delivering training to various sized audiences
Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field or related work experience
Experience with the implementation of large systems
Experience and or education in Training, learning and development
