• Sr. Mobile Application Developer

    Job Description

    An employer in Houston is looking for a Sr. Mobile Application Developer to join their team. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative mobile applications across multiple platforms. This role involves managing the complete software development lifecycle while creating user-focused solutions that meet client requirements and business objectives. Daily duties will include but not be limited to supporting the entire application lifecycle from concept through design, testing, release, and ongoing support. Development on applications will include mobile platforms including Apple iOS, Google Android, Microsoft Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and emerging mobile platforms. This person will also be working with third-party libraries and APIs to enhance application functionality. Individual must have excellent written and verbal communication, ability to adapt to new environments quickly, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $70-80/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    8+ years of hands on mobile application development experience

     

    Previous experience supporting applications through full development lifecycle

     

    In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language such as Swift, Java, Kotlin, or similar

     

    Expertise integrating third-party libraries and APIs

     

    Proficient understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles

     

    Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market

     

    Previous experience working with Agile development methodologies Previous airline industry experience

     

    Hands on experience with cross-platform development frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Xamarin)

     

    Knowledge and understanding of mobile security best practices

     

    Familiarity with app store submission and approval processes
