    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a senior engineer on the Identity Engineering team, who will support the enterprise BloodHound platform by maintaining, securing, and optimizing this critical Active Directory attack-path analysis tool. While initial design and deployment are underway, their focus will be on operational readiness, including patching, hardening, monitoring, and process integration. This candidate will apply updates to BloodHound components, implement security standards and RBAC, and ensure compliance with enterprise policies. Daily responsibilities include integrating with SIEM tools like Splunk, setting up health checks, troubleshooting incidents, and collaborating with teams such as AD, DBAs (PostgreSQL), GIS, DevOps, and end users to maintain platform stability. They will also partner with DevOps for automation and CI/CD improvements, create documentation and runbooks for compliance, and contribute to future enhancements like scaling and performance tuning. Compensation is $87.59 hourly.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Expertise in Active Directory (trusts, Kerberos, ACLs, delegation, tiering models)

    • Strong Windows Server administration skills and proficiency in PowerShell scripting

    • Experience with platform operations: patching, backups, monitoring, and security hardening

    • Familiarity with Linux basics and PostgreSQL (or ability to learn quickly)

    • Strong understanding of network segmentation, TLS, and RBAC

    • Ability to navigate large enterprise processes and collaborate across multiple teams

     

    Experience in large enterprise environments and/or financial institutions, including regulatory and compliance considerations • Exposure to BloodHound or similar Active Directory security tools

     

    • Experience with Ping Identity products

    • Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and automation frameworks (Ansible/Terraform)

     

    SIEM integration experience (Splunk preferred)
