Job Description

• Lead mechanical design projects as Designer of Record (DOR)

• Perform technical analysis, calculations, and internal reviews

• Develop specifications, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and conduct site visits

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets/schedules

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training

• Support business development and client engagement

Skills and Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering

• PE license

• 10+ years in mechanical building systems design

• Expertise in HVAC systems, codes (IMC, IBC, IPC, ASHRAE), and technical writing

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, Adobe/Bluebeam

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Occasional travel • DoD experience

• Design-Build

• Plumbing design

• Sustainable design

• LEED certification
