• Principal Technical Architect (Okta/Auth0)

    Job Description

    We’re looking for a seasoned Technical Architect who can define and validate the migration of a legacy internal application to Okta/Auth0.

     

    This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll design the architecture, prototype authentication flows, and set the roadmap for a dedicated engineering team.

     

    You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, leverage AI-powered development tools, and ensure alignment with enterprise security standards. This role includes both high-level planning and deep technical execution.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

     

    Deep experience with Okta/Auth0, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT.

     

    Minimum 10+ years designing and deploying applications on AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB/Aurora, CDK/Terraform).

     

    Frontend & Backend Skills: Strong proficiency in React (v19+), TypeScript, Node.js.

     

    Successfully led complex IDP migrations and legacy modernization projects.

     

    Daily use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf).

     

    Ability to create clear architecture diagrams and specs using Lucidchart and Confluence. AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer).

     

    Experience with serverless-first architectures and event-driven patterns.

     

    Familiarity with enterprise security compliance frameworks.

     

    Prior experience in financial service or regulated environments.

     

    Contributions to open-source identity/security projects.
