Job Description

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java and modern frameworks.

Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable backend components and APIs.

Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve code quality, speed, and efficiency.

Deploy and support applications in AWS environments.

Participate in a streamlined interview process (single 45‑minute technical conversation).

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of backend engineering experience, primarily with Java.

Strong experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL.

Hands‑on experience with AWS services (any combination of Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).

Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT, or relevant certifications (preferred but not required).

Ability to work on‑site in Newark, NJ three days per week.
