• Senior Systems Integration Engineer

    Job Description

    A leading company in the commercial space industry is looking for a Sr Systems Integration Engineer to join their growing corporate IT Team. This company builds and delivers the future of space transportation, destinations and infrastructure, offering “space-as-a-service” in support of the new space economy.

     

    In this position, you will support a handful of programs that use HPC's cluster to do their runs. You will troubleshoot schedulers, Monte Carlo simulations, and high speed network connectivity issues. Additionally, you will support developers with executing simulations, patching and upgrading nodes within clusters, support the remediation of security vulnerabilities, monitor uptime and backups. You will also serve as the escalation point for their Linux environment.

     

    This is a full time opportunity. It is 5 days a week onsite in Louisville, CO. The compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $172,000. Benefits, industry leading 401K, PTO, annual bonus, and RSU's in addition to base compensation.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    10+ years of experience within systems administration and engineering

     

    8+ years of experience within Linux

     

    5+ years of experience working with HPC (deploying and maintaining on prem HPC clusters, cloud deployment, Monte Carlo Simulations, Slurm, Torch Schedulers)

     

    Scripting languages: Bash, Python

     

    Working knowledge of Puppet, Chef and Ansible

     

    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, singularity containers, and DevSecOps Virtual Python/Conda
