    Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Techno‑Functional Consultant to support our Oracle EBS Financials environment through Oracle’s end-of-life period as we transition to Workday (targeting July 1, 2027). This role is a true 50/50 business and technical split, supporting both IT and functional teams. The consultant will primarily enhance existing customizations, resolve production issues, and deliver SQL/PLSQL-based extracts. You will also support month-end and year-end close, troubleshoot financials and operational issues, and contribute to a small new development effort involving PL/SQL packages.

This position is being opened to backfill team members transitioning to the Workday project, and may extend past 2027 depending on legacy data and reporting needs.

    Key Responsibilities

Provide daily production support for Oracle EBS Financials and related modules (e.g., issues with period close, check printing, integrations, workflows, data issues).

Support and enhance existing customizations across Oracle EBS R12 (12.2 preferred, 12.x acceptable).

Develop and troubleshoot SQL, PL/SQL, and build data extracts for business users.

Debug and resolve issues across financial modules, integrations, reports, and custom code.

Perform technical fixes, configuration adjustments, and functional analysis as needed.

Support month-end and year-end close activities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional issues and translate them into technical solutions.

Participate in testing cycles: system testing, integration testing, and UAT.

Assist with a small new build project involving PL/SQL package development.

Perform light Unix shell scripting for jobs, file handling, or automation.

Contribute to documentation, root-cause analysis, and stabilization of the environment as the company transitions to Workday.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. Skills and Requirements

5+ years supporting or implementing Oracle EBS R12 (Financials‑heavy).

Strong techno‑functional expertise in Financials modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management.

Strong technical skills in SQL & PL/SQL (advanced), including writing extracts, debugging packages, and analyzing data issues.

Ability to troubleshoot production issues end‑to‑end (functional + technical).

Experience supporting period close, check printing, workflows, and custom reports/interfaces.

Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting (light scripting for jobs/troubleshooting).

Ability to partner effectively with both business users and IT teams (true techno‑functional hybrid).

Strong communication skills — able to explain technical issues to non‑technical users.

Ability to support EBS through Oracle end‑of‑life and during the Workday transformation project. Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.

Project Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, or EAM module exposure.
