40 Hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Load and unload crops and materials using manual methods and equipment such as conveyors, forklifts, and augers. Mix and apply fertilizers, chemicals, and seeds; operate, monitor, and adjust agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, fertilizer spreaders, seed tenders, irrigation systems, and sugar beet harvesting equipment to till soil; plant, cultivate, spray, harvest, and store crops. Attach and operate farm implements and towed equipment. Transport crops, supplies, tools, and workers. Maintain grain handling systems, field roads, ditches, and property grounds; clean, service, and maintain equipment; and perform general seasonal farm duties as assigned. Farming with corn, soybeans, sugar beets, and wheat.
### Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of three (3) months of experience required. Must be able to obtain a valid driver’s license within thirty (30) days of hire. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding work, including extensive pushing or pulling and extensive sitting or walking. Must pass a post-hire drug screen and criminal background check, both paid for by the employer; failure to pass may result in termination. Alcohol use on the job, illegal drug use (including marijuana), smoking, and vaping are strictly prohibited. Random drug testing may occur. Honesty and compliance with workplace conduct and safety standards are required.

### Additional Compensation
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
