• Supply Chain Systems Engineer

    Job Description

    One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for a Supply Chain Systems Engineer to support company operations in McLean, VA. This will be a fully onsite role, from 8:30AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday.

     

    This individual will be responsible for owning the full product lifecycle including planning, design, material sourcing, supplier management, fabrication, logistics, delivery and post-delivery support. The goal is to have someone who understand how a product moves from concept to customer and be able to assist with the production piece of testing and design. They will also be responsible for pricing, lead time estimates, and other minor project management components. They will be heavily involved in the fabrication/assembly process so having been on assembly floors or manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.

    Skills and Requirements

    - 4+ YOE

    - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Systems or related field)

     

    - Proven ability in mechanical design, product packaging, supply chain operations, platform or fixture engineering

    - Proven ability to handle full product lifecycle from planning to post-delivery support

    - Hands on experience using 2D/3D design software (Creo, Solidworks, etc.)

     

    - Strong communication skills

     

    - Ability to obtain government clearance - Welding and fabrication certifications
