    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is seeking a Master Scheduler. This person will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex program schedules in support of defense programs. This role requires a professional with 5–8+ years of experience in scheduling and program controls, ideally within the Department of Defense environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Deltek scheduling tools and possess a solid understanding of Earned Value Management principles to ensure schedule integrity, performance tracking, and alignment with cost baselines. The Master Scheduler will collaborate closely with program management, engineering, and finance teams to forecast timelines, identify risks, and support data-driven decision-making across the program lifecycle. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly technical environment are essential.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or engineering

    • 5-8+ years of experience in program scheduling within the DoD or aerospace

    • Necessary tools: Microsoft Project & DELTEK Acumen

    • Experience with DCMA-14 point schedule analysis

    • Background with earned value management (EVM) and doing IPMDAR submission
