Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Customer Support Power BI Developer to support a manufacturing company onsite 5 days a week in East Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing accurate, timely, and actionable data insights to support customer operations and industrial performance. This role focuses on data development and automation using Microsoft, SAP, and SQL within supply chain and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Customer Support Data Analysis

Perform comprehensive data reporting across multiple LOBs, including updates, reports, analysis, and distribution on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Customer Data Package

Create weekly customer data packages featuring key industrial updates such as deliveries, commitments, stock coverage, and gap analysis.

Heatmap Reporting

Generate heatmaps and commitment reports to visualize risk and performance trends.

Status Report

Develop weekly reports summarizing changes, status updates, and industrial timelines.

Critical Part Reporting

Produce daily reports on critical part KPIs, including demand, receipts, commitments, stock levels, serial number coverage, and trend analysis.

Report Automation

Drive automation of customer support reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload using SQL scripts, SAP data extraction, and Microsoft tools.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

- Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in data visualization tools.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, SAP, and SQL for data development and automation. - Background in supply chain, manufacturing, or automotive environments preferred.

- Bachelors Degree or hire in Computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or similar.

- Has managed and implemented data projects before with Automotive and/or Aerospace manufacturing.
