    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a crop science laboratory team. This role involves manual labor, including:

     

    Weighing seed samples

     

    Grinding

    Preparing buffers for sample prep

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a labor-intensive environment and will assist senior lab technicians with prepping seeds for analytical testing. This position offers hands-on experience with analytical tools and opportunities to contribute to specific projects.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    1+ years of experience with a STEM education background

     

    Strong interest and aptitude for working in a lab environment

     

    Reliable attendance and availability for the entire contract

     

    Interest in STEM Bachelor’s degree

     

    Agricultural/Crop Science background (Seed industry experience is a big plus)

    Soft Skills:

    Teamwork

     

    Comfortable working in a lab setting with ~10 other people

     

    Attention to detail and quality

     

    Experience running standardized lab methods

     

    Familiarity with SOPs
