PART TIME RESEARCH SCHOLAR
New York University Tandon School of Engineering
The Future Labs at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a part time Research Scholar to work with the Urban Future Lab.

NYU Tandon Future Labs are a startup incubator network that began in 2009 with initial funding from NYCEDC. Today the network includes the Data Future Lab, Game Design Future Lab, Urban Future Lab, and Veterans Future Lab, all co-located at 370 Jay Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Since their inception, the Future Labs have supported more than 428 startups that have collectively raised over $4.6 billion and created more than 9,500 jobs, with a 93 percent success rate five years after founding.
Expectations
Candidates will be responsible for marketing and marketing analytics support, including social media and event data analysis; event management support; and visual content output - including filming, photography, and video editing for newsletters and social media. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in marketing as exemplified by a strong education and employment history.
Salary range:
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $26.37 per hour depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification. Previous educational experience in engineering is desired for. This part time position is up to 20 work hours per week.
Expected start date and period of employment
Expected start date is : January 16, 2026. This position is expected to be for 18 months .
Candidates should have at least a MS in Integrated Marketing, Marketing Analytics or a related field and 2 years of experience. Candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
