A private family in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced, part-time Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large, newly built estate. The ideal candidate will have a proven background managing high-end residences, setting up household systems, coordinating vendors, and supervising staff. This role is best suited for a hands-on professional who is organized, proactive, and well-connected in the Houston area.
Responsibilities:
+ Establish and maintain household systems, including maintenance schedules and household manuals
+ Oversee day-to-day operations of a 20,000 sq. ft. estate consisting of multiple structures
+ Supervise and support household staff
+ Manage and coordinate vendors for repairs, maintenance, landscaping, and specialized services
+ Source and recommend high-quality vendors
+ Oversee ongoing repairs and preventative maintenance
+ Implement and manage household security procedures
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for household-related needs and issues
Qualifications:
+ Proven experience as a Household Manager or similar role in a large, high-end private residence
+ Demonstrated ability to create and implement household systems and operational procedures
+ Strong vendor management experience with established local connections
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
+ Discreet, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
Schedule: 16 hours per week
