Office Manager

**Location:** Dubuque, IA

**Pay:** $22–$24/hour, based on experience

**Schedule:** Full-time | Core hours between 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:00am–5:00pm (some flexibility available)

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local Dubuque-based company with a search for an Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Answer incoming phone calls and make outbound follow-up calls as needed

+ Enter data and prepare proposals using pre-formatted templates

+ Track and follow up on incoming leads

+ Manage billing functions and maintain organized financial records

+ Process payments and assist with basic accounting tasks

+ Utilize QuickBooks

+ Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

+ Support operational organization and workflow improvements

+ Assist with additional administrative duties as the business grows

What We’re Looking For:

+ Previous office or administrative experience required

+ Experience in a construction or contracting environment is a plus, but not required

+ Strong computer skills and comfort working in multiple systems

+ QuickBooks experience is highly preferred

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Comfortable handling phone communication, both inbound and outbound

+ Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive work style
