Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Pay: **$18/hour + $2/hr weekly bonus potential**

Shift: **2nd shift (2p -11:30p) Mon-Thurs; (2p-6p) Fridays**

A local Monticello employer is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented shipping and receiving clerk to join their team. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials are organized and ready for production and distribution. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience and be comfortable with physical work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders

+ Prepare and package outbound shipments according to company and customer requirements

+ Operate a forklift safely to load and unload trucks, move materials, and organize warehouse inventory

+ Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records

+ Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse organization

Qualifications:

+ Forklift experience required (one year or more is preferred)

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
