Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated students to help support the University Support Services group within the University Information Technology department.
Opportunities include reviewing security reports and removing access from staff that are no longer working for the University. Students at this level work under the direction ofUITstaff.
This position provides IT support to the general university community for mission-critical application services.
Responsibilities
This person will be responsible for conducting audits and collaborating with managers and departments across the university. The role also includes running SQL queries and performing LDAP searches, with potential future responsibilities in PeopleSoft security, such as managing user access.

**About UIT** :**University Information Technology ( UIT )**, the central IT service provider for the University of Utah, reports to the U’s**Chief Information Officer**and is responsible for many of the U’s shared IT services including the wired and wireless network; Campus Information Services ( CIS ) portal; UMail, telephone, and online collaboration; digital learning technologies; information security; software licensing; and a host of other IT systems and services.
