Are you skilled in design drafting and ready to contribute to the construction, modification, and maintenance of power system facilities? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking dedicated Technician CAD Drafter to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ.

Role Summary:

As a Technician CAD Drafter, you will perform technical and skilled design drafting assignments requiring the application of fundamental engineering and advanced drafting skills. Your role will involve preparing complex and detailed engineering drawings associated with power substations and other related facilities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

+ Use computer-aided drafting (Microstation v8i) to prepare drawings from notes, marked prints, verbal/written instructions, calculations, or rough sketches.

+ Review all information received from others or formulated by self for accuracy and completeness to minimize drafting/engineering errors.

+ Learn and apply COMPANY drawing standards on all assigned drafting projects.

+ Assist in providing technical assistance and quality assurance for other drafters in support of the design effort.

+ Perform production design drafting and/or checking to meet assigned schedules, including drawings for both construction work and installation records.

+ Manage and organize working files using ProjectWise software.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Experience with MicroStation V8i or AutoCAD.

+ Strong technical and skilled design drafting abilities.

+ Ability to work from COMPANY Power Operations Building, with potential for part-time remote work.

**Pay Details:** $30.00 to $40.56 per hour
