Position Summary

As a Blend Operator, you will operate blending equipment to prepare raw materials and ingredients for production, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You’ll maintain accurate batch records, support efficient product output, and help keep our work environment clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate blending equipment and cheese grinder per batch specifications

+ Safely open and handle cheese/ingredient packages

+ Accurately measure ingredients and perform basic math calculations

+ Maintain documentation and enter production data into SAP

+ Move pallets using manual/electric pallet jacks

+ Clean and sanitize machinery/equipment per SSOPs

+ Assist in other production areas as needed

+ Report food safety and quality concerns

+ Uphold GMP standards and company protocols

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Experience working in a food manufacturing environment preferred

Skills and Competencies

+ Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately follow documents such as ingredient information and batch records

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Basic proficiency in math for measuring and recording ingredients

+ Ability to use basic computer software systems (E21) to input and retrieve data

+ Ability to apply practical problem-solving skills and follow detailed instructions in both written and verbal formats

+ Ability to use sound judgement to handle routine issues within a standardized environment

+ Proactively identify safety and GMP opportunities

+ Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds on a semi-frequent basis
