We’re looking for an outstanding **Search** **Manager** —someone who can win the hearts of clients, inspire junior staff, and skillfully juggle multiple pieces of business. Responsibilities
As Manager of Commerce Media, you’ll manage the strategic components of integrated RMN Search campaigns. You will lead a team of Sr Analysts and Analysts within the Digitas Commerce Media team to establish performance metrics, report results and foster client and vendor relationships. You’ll identify optimizations, support the build of client decks and attend client meetings as the face of our digital media plans.
Most importantly, you must possess a strong inner drive to bring your RMN expertise across Amazon, Roundel, Walmart Connect, KPM, Instacart, Criteo, Citrus, Pacvue, and other key retailer’s search offerings to a growing team and enjoy working with some of the finest minds in the industry.
Day-to-day your role includes:
• Retail Search Strategy:
o Spearhead comprehensive retail search strategy creation across the extensive client brand and business unit(s) portfolio (e.g. SKU, Investment allocation, flighting, etc.)
o Media recommendation material creation and presentation lead to key client stakeholders
• Search Investment Activation, Campaign Management, and Reporting:
o Development of retail level strategy implementation with retailer specific investment strategies to drive sales conversion (e.g., bidding, keyword, SKU, share, investment strategies)
o Establishing and driving Retail Media activations best practices to assimilate across tactics and activations
o Executing, managing, and optimizing all retail search campaigns including platform media buying as well as direct-to-publisher programs, both independently and in support of Senior Analysts
o Manage and oversee Prisma campaign set up, platform insertion orders, campaign artifacts, and all relevant campaign documentation in preparation for campaign launch
o Campaign QA to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, performance, troubleshooting and optimization
o Monitor KPIs, analyze campaign data, generate campaign level reports (daily, weekly, quarterly), and present actionable insights to stakeholders
o Support Associate Director in monthly QBR and MMM reporting deliverables
o Understand and explain attribution model across RMN partners
• Relationship Building:
o Serve as a primary contact for day-to-day Commerce Media client leads
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with platform and publisher partners in the industry
o Fostering relationship with internal teams (Strategy, Data & Analytics, and other capabilities) and external teams while managing multiple client stakeholders
• Operational Excellence:
o Tracking of investment (monthly/quarterly/annually)
o Demonstrating diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices
o System competencies with key platforms such as Prisma, Pacvue, Retailer UIs, etc.
o Supervise performance forecasts, budget allocations, and data-based rationale for recommendations to ensure maximized ROI
o Oversee Sr Analysts and Analysts and ensure daily campaign monitoring, optimization, reporting and testing
o Adopting established account management standards and program management best practices, but continuing to find process improvements
• Leadership & Channel Ownership:
o Prioritize teamwork and delegating responsibilities
o Understanding big picture implications and how insights can be applied in other programs and environments
o Understanding and effectively communicating our value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts
o Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of meetings, from scheduling, developing agendas, leading calls to follow-up
o Participating in regular sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance
o Active knowledge sharing with capability and broader agency
o Embracing and encouraging a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
o Contribute to Commerce COE to support capability development across the agency
o Assisting in the development and documentation of best practices for improving communication and collaboration within the team and the group
o Keep up to date on industry trends and send highlights to greater team when applicable
Qualifications
+ A four-year degree and 5 to 7 years of digital media experience, 4+ years of RMN experience
+ Prior experience managing direct report(s) preferred
+ Strong familiarity with the digital environment and a clear understanding of media planning and buying process (multi-channel knowledge and Pacvue, Criteo, Target, Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, etc. search or display experience preferred)
+ Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives
+ Strong understanding of media research tools – you know their strengths/weaknesses, and when and how to effectively use them (i.e., Edge, Gradient, PriceSpider, Content Analytics, Stackline, Feedvisor)
+ Solid quantitative and research skills, and proven data interpretation capability
+ Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
+ Excellent client presence and ability to lead discussions with internal and external leadership
+ Strong ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into search and media strategies
+ Excellent communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when relating to others
+ Willingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas
+ Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation:

Additional information
Compensation Range: $81,225 - $116,655. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
